Our lens material offerings include CR39 (plastic), polycarbonate, 1.67 hi-index, and 1.74 hi-index. Any of these lenses can also be ordered in an aspheric design, which makes them thinner. The material selected is based upon your prescription and your needs.
All lenses include a scratch coating. An anti-reflective coating is suggested for all glasses to help cut down on indoor glare from lights, televisions, and computers. AR coatings also help in the outdoors with night time headlight and streetlight glare. They effectively eliminate reflections on the lens surface. The current premium AR coatings include a super hard scratch coat, hydrophobic coat, and oleophobic coat.
